This line-up of fully-featured, excellent price/performance models for mixed data, graphics and video content, addresses the budget conscious entry market. The new range updates incorporate features that competitors usually only offer in higher-level products.
The new LCD monitors range from 17”-22” and include models with both widescreen (16:10) and conventional (5:4) aspect ratios enabling various viewing needs to be precisely serviced. With their slim and timeless stylish design they save desktop space and are perfectly suited for use at home, in the education sector or in almost all types of businesses environments. The widescreen models bring panoramic viewing for multiple documents and HD video content to the desktop. The dramatic increase in viewing area these widescreen displays provide, allow users to navigate between multiple windows and applications in less time and with greater ease. This expands virtual desktop space without sacrificing physical desk real estate.
High brightness and contrast values ensure crisp images and vivid colours. Thanks to large viewing angles and fast response times, even action-packed games or videos can be enjoyed in fluid motion with friends and family or multimedia applications can be shared with colleagues from virtually any perspective. All models offer a high Dynamic Contrast Ratio (DCR), – a technology that adjusts black levels based on screen content – allowing for darker black levels and a higher contrast. An additional benefit is the significant reduction of light leakage on darker screens, especially when viewed from the side. Moreover, the option to select a model with both analogue and digital (DVI-D HDCP) inputs, or to choose one with analogue inputs only, lets users select a display that perfectly matches their specific connectivity and multitasking requirements.
An OSD lets screen adjustments to be made precisely and comfortable via an easy–to-use menu. The OSD and power lock prevent changes to monitor settings and maintain an optimised image. All displays are Windows Vista™ certified, and incorporate a textured black with silver trim cabinet and thin-bezel design as well as a clean cable management system.
